My name is Lindsey. I am originally from outside of Pensacola, Florida. Three years ago, I traded the Florida Gulf Coast for the heart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and I've built a life brimming with love here alongside my partner, our cat, and our two dogs. Reading and writing, particularly poetry, are my passions, offering solace and inspiration. I take great pleasure in supporting emerging authors and artists, cherishing the beauty of their creations. I have many interests including photography, gardening, and watching anime. I love the phrase "Just because I haven't done it, doesn't mean I can't".

I established Chronic Melancholia with the intention of bringing joy and fostering connections among individuals through a unique mail letter service. Drawing from my passion for penpalling, which has been a cherished hobby of mine for years, I envisioned a platform where I could share small gifts and my own writings with others. Having cultivated numerous penpal relationships over time, I understand the simple pleasure of receiving a heartfelt letter in the mail, and I aim to bring that same excitement to others through Chronic Melancholia.

The name Chronic Melancholia pays homage to my longstanding battle with depression and reflects my commitment to supporting others who may be experiencing similar challenges. This venture also stems from my wide-ranging interests and genuine enthusiasm for stationery products, as well as my desire to share the things I love with like-minded individuals.

Leveraging the energy of my ADHD and occasional bouts of insomnia, I am dedicated to offering authentic pieces of myself to others through Chronic Melancholia. My hope is to encourage recipients to engage in reciprocal communication and share their own stories and experiences, thereby fostering a sense of connection and camaraderie within our community.
